About the Author

Having served honorably in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. McNeal has moved from active duty into the civilian workforce himself, understanding firsthand the challenges veterans face.


Ryan has spent his post-service career not only building his own path—from technician to senior leader—but also helping other veterans build theirs. He has coached service members on translating military experience into civilian value, mentored transitioning veterans entering the technology sector, and spoken widely on career development, continued education, and long-term financial planning for life after service.
